extrait des forums Européens :
Some teams are ready, other teams have been tuning their cars for months and others.. have just started building.
My own cars are ready to roll, I've built an Audi R10 TDI for myself and a Penske Porsche to loan to the dutch Weamteam, a team with whom I've had numerous enjoyable battles on track over the past decade, and I was excited to invite them to my race and race one of my cars. Both cars have been running very respectable laptimes during tests and I hope I can get both teams into the top8.
The Swiss R.I.C.H. team has a whole line-up of Patron Acura's, 6 built cars if I'm not mistaking, and there's bound to be at least one good one in there!
German Slottec had big plans to build some 4 deFerran Acura's, but I believe in the end they've decided to concentrate on one car, as this is a relatively new class for this team and they are quickly learning the key figures!
Team ACR, combining the constructor that won both the championship AND vice-championship last year, Ralf Seif and Andre Linberg, are defenitly the team to beat, having multiple cars running stellar laptimes.
No Limits, with Peter Oberbillig (SLP2 developer) and Alex Ortmann, have decided to throw in some short night to prepare a second car for the race, being clubmates of ACR, a fierce battle can be expected here!!
Scuderia Kaitserrari from Finland, lead by well known Kai Kivekas, will be very interesting to follow. Even thought Kai admits he hasn't got reference at home to see if his car is on the pace, I've never been to a race and not see Kai in the fastest group!
Of course, team Slotfabrik, a true Peugeot 908 specialist, having built numerous versions of this car over the years, he knows every 0,00001 mm of this car. His cars and chassis always a work of art, let's hope the car performs like a masterpiece!
Borge Haug from Norway, recently acquired the very latest updated for his Aston Martin Lola that have certainly put his car on the pace. Frequent online setup help from Holland could maybe pave their way into the fast group!
Dr Slot, lead by creator and inspiror of the german SLP series Martin Bartelmes which is now the most competitive league in Europe, will also honour us with his participation, joined by young gun Yannick Horn.
Jens Racing, partially German, partially Canadian, will have their Spyder driven by nobody else then the famous Dieter Jens and Mark Campbell, assisted by both Jens Juniors to help them get through the night in front!
LRD International 1 and 2, are new to me to be honoust, but having seen their online pictures and chassis, I'm sure they'll be finding their way to the top in no time!
German Jäger Team, the 4th team originating from the holy grounds of Trier, are known for their consistency and relaibility which combined with their always present solid speed, will defenitly see them high up by the end of the race!
Belgian Paddle Racing, lead by famous Louise Valkenbourgh and her beautifull Lola, will add even more beautifull colours to this big field packed with gorgious machines!
And these are only a handfull out of the close to 30 international teams that will be present in Dison this weekend to fight for each and every centimeter on track!! __________________ Cheers, NickTry not. Do or do not, there is no try. -- Yoda
